In June 1766, Robert Abraham "Van Deusen" was living as a tenant on disputed land by favour of the Lord of Livingston Manor. A mob of 200 came to the Manor threats asking for the Lord to sign leases for them. They then turned to the tenant, pulled him out by the hair, turned out his wife and children, beat the son, destroyed some of their goods and tore the roof of Van Deusen's house before going away. Tobias was born before 1724. He passed away after 1768.
